Today was a great day. Our fabulous little dancer did a charity Holiday Party today. She danced for the Candlelighters of Brevard Cancer Association. It was dinner theatre/ Kiwanis Club atmosphere, but oh were they great. I am posting 3 clips for you to see. #1. The warm-up, #2. The junior team doing Hey Mickey. #3. The mini/junior team doing Pooh Corner. Hope you love it as much as I did. I can't wait to see these two dances in competition in the spring.

Breakfast with Santa, Saturday, December 6th, 2008

Hello again. Lots going on in this neck of the woods. Today the kids had a busy funfilled day. They started off with Breakfast with Santa at Logan's school, First United Methodist Preschool. Take a look at the slideshow to the right to see the pictures. If you want to see any pictures better just click on the slideshow and you can flip through them. Anyway, They got to take pictures with Santa and enjoy a free continental breakfast. There were bubbles that looked like snow, crafts and candy canes, they had a really great time. Tomorrow is Cassandra's dance performance for the Candlelighter of Brevard Holiday Party for terminally ill children. I plan on video taping the performances and posting them as soon as I can. Check back soon.

Ethan's Birthday Party at Pump It Up, Friday, December 5th, 2008

Logan went to a birthday party for one of his 5 year old friends tonight. Pump it up is an indoor inflatable party zone. Usually the kids go together so it is a nice occassion when it is a friend of one or the others. Ethan is a little boy that was in Logan's class last year, but they are not in the same class this year. He had a great time as the pictures will show. Cassandra spent the evening with Grammy and Grampy having Grammy Sandy's restaurant, that's what we call it when Grammy makes them dinner. It was a lot of fun. The first picture is the 20 foot slide. The 2nd picture is Logan coming out of the double obstacle course. 3rd picture Logan sitting with Ethan in the birthday throne while he was opening the gift Logan gave him.

Logan's VPK Winter Celebration, Tuesday December 2nd, 2008 6:15pm. First United Methodist Preschool

Logan is officially a ham as you will see in all of the videos below. The whole show was so cute and there were about 400 people there. It was worth it and I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Just so you know Logan's girlfriend, at least the latest one, Alexis is wearing a black velvet dress with white trim. Watching them together is the cutest thing you have ever seen. If anyone is familiar with the scene from The Muppet Movie where Kermit and Miss Piggy are running to each other in the field of flowers, it is like that every time the two of them see each other. They even have pet names for one another. Logan is Tomato and Alexis is cucumber. They light up every time they see each other. We are so proud of our little man. It is so hard to believe he is 5 already and doing all of these grown up things. Enjoy the show. Some of it is pretty funny.

Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27th, 2008

Thanksgiving Day was a blast with the Florida Ebert Clan.

We enjoyed our feast thoroughly. We had meat pie, and spinach pie, sausage bread and all of the traditional fixins with our Turkey and stuffing. We had some fabulous deserts and even a performance of Cassandra's dances after dinner. Always a good time. Even the dogs enjoyed all of the crumbs that wound up on the floor.

Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Our Sick Little Dancer

Unfortunately all of our great plans were squashed this past weekend. Cassandra was supposed to dance at the King Center for the Festival of Trees, but she had to miss the performance. She was terribly sick with a fever. She had 103.5 Saturday night even after taking her first dose of antibiotics and tylenol. The performance was to happen on Sunday at 2 in the afternoon, but it just wasn't in the cards. I posted her mall performance pictures from October and will post more as I get them. Have a Great Thanksgiving everyone and we'll be back with more pictures and info as it happens.

The Little Dancer

Cassandra, as some of you know is on The Powerhouse Dance Team at Annette's Ultimate Dance Florida. She absolutely loves it and lives to dance. She goes 3 days a week. Monday she takes Acrobatics and Tap/Jazz from 4pm - 6:15pm, Wednesday is Ballet and Team Rehearsal from 4pm-6:45pm, and Thursday is Musical Theatre and Hip Hop from 4:30pm - 6:15pm. Once or twice a month they have a Saturday team rehearsal from 10am -2pm. Again she loves it. We just found out today that she will be performing at the Kings Center for the Festival of Trees on Sunday, November 23rd. We are very excited. She will also be performing for the Candlelighters of Melbourne which is a holiday party for terminally ill children that will be on December 7th.

Not to leave Logan out. His schedule is a little more thin, but he will be doing his VPK Christmas Program on Tuesday, December 2nd. I promise to post pictures of these events and tell everyone how things have gone. I'll be back to fill in the blanks with Logan's birthday, our trip, Cassandra's performance at the mall and of course, Halloween.
